Hannon International, Inc. is a management consulting company founded in 1995 to provide technical assistance
for donor funded projects in areas including privatization, post privatization, corporate governance,
financial sector reform and trade, investment, competitiveness and private sector development. It also
provides strategy and advice to commercial clients engaged in international trade and foreign direct
investment. Brian Hannon is the President and founder of the company.
Prior to founding the company
in 1995 he directed Booz·Allen & Hamilton's privatization practice for Central and Eastern Europe and
the New Independent States of former Soviet Union. In addition to its donor funded technical assistance
projects in Central and Eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, and the Near East HII has undertaken a
number of commercial projects for clients. Some of these include: the development of a $150 million
private equity fund for the former Yugoslavia; and, acting as an advisor and agent to a major Austrian
investment bank and lead fund manager of a Polish Privatization Fund for the purchase and consolidation
of additional shareholdings of Polish companies under Poland’s mass privatization program; and, providing
strategy and advice for the development of commodity markets in Argentina and Poland and other ventures.
